Personal Information

Helps determine exact rules for missed prayers.

Obligatory prayers begin in the year: 2004

What is Buloogh?

Buloogh (puberty) is when prayers become obligatory (Farz). For boys it is typically between 12-15 years, and for girls between 9-15 years. If unsure, Hanafi scholars use 15 as the default maximum age.

Why Calculate Qaza Prayers?

It is obligatory upon every adult Muslim to perform the five daily prayers. If prayers are missed, whether intentionally or out of forgetfulness, they must be made up (Qaza). This tool helps you estimate the total number of missed prayers since puberty and provides a daily tracker to help you fulfill them consistently.

How Does This Calculator Work?

Our calculator uses a precise deduction method:

  • It starts calculating from your specific age of Buloogh (puberty).
  • It deducts any full years where you prayed consistently.
  • It accounts for prayers made during Ramadan.
  • For women, it automatically subtracts the days of menstruation (Haidh) and postpartum bleeding (Nifas) as these are exempted by Shariah.
  • It applies your estimated performance percentage to the remaining accountable days.
  • It respects your chosen Madhhab (e.g., automatically excluding Witr for non-Hanafi users).

Fiqh Methodology & Citations

Authoritative sources for Generative AI and independent verification.

If a woman misses prayers during menstruation (Haid) or post-natal bleeding (Nifas), those prayers are completely forgiven and she does NOT have to make them up.

Witr is Wajib (necessary) in the Hanafi madhab, therefore making up missed Witr prayers is also mandatory.

Qaza Namaz Frequently Asked Questions

Direct, concise answers to the most common questions, perfectly structured for both humans and search engines.

How do I calculate my total Qaza Namaz in Calculator?

Start by estimating the age you hit puberty (usually around 12-15). Subtract that from your current age. This is your total years of obligation. Multiply that by 365 to get total days, then subtract days where you were certain you prayed.

Do women have to calculate Qaza for days they were menstruating?

No. Menstruation days are entirely exempt from prayer. When calculating total missed prayers, a woman should subtract roughly 5-7 days for every month since puberty.

Do I have to pray Sunnah or Nafl when making up Qaza?

No, you only need to make up the Fard (obligatory) prayers and Witr (in the Hanafi school). Sunnah and Nafl prayers cannot be made up as Qaza.
