Personal Information

Obligatory prayers begin in the year: 2004

What is Buloogh?

Buloogh (puberty) is when prayers become obligatory (Farz). For boys it is typically between 12-15 years, and for girls between 9-15 years. If unsure, Hanafi scholars use 15 as the default maximum age.

Why Calculate Qaza Prayers?

It is obligatory upon every adult Muslim to perform the five daily prayers. If prayers are missed, whether intentionally or out of forgetfulness, they must be made up (Qaza). This tool helps you estimate the total number of missed prayers since puberty and provides a daily tracker to help you fulfill them consistently.

How Does This Calculator Work?

Our calculator uses a precise deduction method:

  • It starts calculating from your specific age of Buloogh (puberty).
  • It deducts any full years where you prayed consistently.
  • It accounts for prayers made during Ramadan.
  • For women, it automatically subtracts the days of menstruation (Haidh) and postpartum bleeding (Nifas) as these are exempted by Shariah.
  • It applies your estimated performance percentage to the remaining accountable days.
  • It respects your chosen Madhhab (e.g., automatically excluding Witr for non-Hanafi users).
