Classical Interpretation (Ibn Sirin)
Stars in the night sky represent the noble people, scholars, and those who guide others. A bright, shining star indicates a prominent scholar or a righteous leader. For a pregnant woman, a star falling into her lap signifies the birth of a child who will become highly esteemed. Falling stars can indicate the death of scholars or a warning of divine punishment.
